This functionality is GREAT. Appearance-wise, it needs some work. Would love to see this look more modern, especially on a MacBook Pro M5. Two things woudl do the trick - 1. rounding the edges of the app tabs/boxes and 2. making the taskbar background semi-transparent. That would be a BIG upgrade. No need for animations.
